Bees are cool.
They navigate by the sun, live in compact, highly organized communities, and while the guys stay home with the Queen and the babies, the gals go out gathering pollen and nectar ("foraging" for all you scientific types).
And when bees forage, they pollinate.

Every morning worker bees head out to parts unknown and seek out flowers. After collecting pollen and nectar from the flowers, they return to the hive with their bounty. The nectar is used to make honey and the pollen has proteins and other nutrients that feed the colony (a colony is the name for a be family).
NOTE: Not all bees live in hives. “Solitary Bees” live by themselves; in small holes in trees, crevaces in rocks, and some even burrow into the ground!
